"The call of the wild has never been stronger, nor looked so stylish asin these homes nestledin the French countryside, crafted by families pursuing a new form of country living. A ruin in the Barbizon forest transformed into a contemporary timber house, a farmstead with panoramic views over the Truyère River, a restored 400-year-old mill, a manor house next to an elegant seventeenthcentury castle and a self-sufficient cabin in the heart of nature – Estelle Marandon, Gesa Hansen, Charlotte Huguet and other families and individuals saw the potential in these rural homes and took the leap into country life. Coming Home to Nature shares the transformations of their lives after leaving the glamour of Paris to embrace the tranquillity of the countryside".
